Pisang Peak (6,091 meters/19,984 feet), also known as Jong Ri, lies between Annapurna I and Manaslu in the Manang district. In the year 1955, a German Expedition team first climbed the Pisang Peak successfully. Pisang Peak thereafter came to limelight and has become a popular trekking peak in the Annapurna region. The trekking offers a captivating journey through diverse landscapes, cultural sites, and vast biodiversity. Likewise, climbing and summiting the peak is a thrilling and triumphant moment. Though Pisang Peak is characterized as an easy climbing Peak in the Himalayas, a fair enough fitness level with sound health conditions is required for a successful adventure. Programme itinerary :

Day 1 : Arrive at Kathmandu (1400m) / Meet and Greet

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for trekking

Morning wake-up and breakfast in the hotel.

Our guide will meet you in your hotel and brief you about the upcoming trekking/climbing. He will guide you through all the formalities and necessary paper-works required for the trekking.

After that, we then do a Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley of famous UNESCO world heritage sites like Boudhanath, one of the largest Stupas in the world; Swayambhunath, a famous monkey temple and Pashupatinath, a sacred Hindu temple complex. Apart from Sightseeing, we also get TIMS card and permits for our trekking on this day. In the evening, we do initial preparation for the trekking.

Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Chame

After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Chame takes us through the heart of Nepal’s scenic landscapes. Starting on a paved road, the journey to Besisahar passes lush hills, terraced fields, and small towns. Beyond Besisahar, the road becomes narrow, winding, and unpaved, offering a rugged mountain adventure with occasional landslides. Travelers need a 4WD vehicle and an experienced driver. Along the way, we’ll see traditional villages, river valleys, and panoramic Himalayan views. Chame, the district headquarters of Manang, serves as the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit and nearby trekking routes.
