Tilicho lake trekking
Tilicho Lake, at 4,919 m in Nepal’s Annapurna region, is among the world’s highest lakes. Fed by melting glaciers, it spans about 4 km and is famed for its deep blue waters and dramatic snow-capped surroundings. Accessible via a side trek from the Annapurna Circuit, it offers stunning alpine views but demands stamina due to altitude and rugged trails. Sacred to Hindus and Buddhists, it freezes in winter, creating a striking white landscape that attracts trekkers seeking both natural beauty and spiritual significance.
