A Personal Message from the Founder,
Welcome to Trek Adviser.
My name is Anil Budhathoki, Founder of Trek Adviser Pvt. Ltd. Thank you for taking the time to visit us. People often ask me why I chose this path. The answer is simple—because the mountains changed my life. As a trekking guide, I have spent years walking the trails of the Himalayas. I've watched thousands of travelers chase their dream of reaching Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and many other incredible destinations. While every summit is unforgettable, I have learned that the most meaningful part of any journey is not where it ends—it's how you experience every step along the way.
One lesson has stayed with me throughout my life: You need a reason to be sad, not a reason to be happy.
I've come to believe that happiness doesn't need to be chased—it only needs to be noticed. It is already waiting for us in the gentle warmth of the first sunrise over the Himalayas, in the peaceful sound of a river finding its way through the valley, in a simple cup of tea shared with someone who was a stranger just moments before, in the genuine smile of a child from a remote mountain village, and in every quiet step we take along the trail. Life isn't made beautiful by extraordinary moments alone. It's the ordinary moments, when we slow down enough to truly see them, that become the memories we treasure forever.
The mountains have taught me that happiness has never been waiting at the summit. It has been walking beside us all along—we just have to open our hearts to see it. Too often, we become so focused on reaching the summit that we forget to enjoy the trail beneath our feet. We wait for happiness to arrive at the destination, when in reality, it has been walking beside us from the very beginning. That belief is the heart of Trek Adviser.
We are not here simply to take you from one place to another. We are here to help you experience Nepal with open eyes, an open heart, and lasting respect for its people, culture, and mountains. Our philosophy has always been Quality over Quantity. Every guest is treated with honesty, care, and personal attention because we believe trust is earned through actions, not promises. We are proud to be a local company, creating authentic adventures while supporting local communities and protecting the Himalayan environment for future generations.
