Everest Base Camp
Everest Base Camp trek is one of the most famous treks in the world. It takes you into the heart of the Nepalese Himalaya, with incredible awe-inspiring views of many of the world’s highest and most beautiful mountains.
Everest Base Camp is recommended as a “Must-see before Die Destinations” by Lonely Planet. On our Everest Base Camp trek, we follow the footsteps of legend Sir Edmund Hillary as we ascend from verdant Lukla Airport to the vast glaciers and razor-sharp ridgelines of the Khumbu Himalayas, home of the world’s highest peaks.
Along the way, we will encounter very hospitable and friendly Sherpa people and get to know their lifestyle, colorful festivals & Buddhist monasteries surrounded by unique flora and fauna. Also, the trail passes with the carved Mani stone, Prayer flags, Prayer wheels, and singing prayers for everyone’s well-being. Perhaps even a glimpse of the mysterious Yeti (just Kidding). The story of this mountain inhabitant remains a mystery to the rest of the world.
Everest base camp offers a special view of Mt. Everest from the closest point Kalapathar (5545 m). Many expedition teams can be observed from this trekking trail as well.
Highlights:
☛ Stunning views of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world, and other 8000 m mountains.
☛ Experience the most dramatic short-distance flight to Lukla airport.
☛ Get around Namche Bazaar, one of the highest location local markets in the world.
☛ Experience true local hospitality in authentic villages on the route.
☛ Learn about local Sherpa people, their culture, and lifestyle.
