Everything You Need for a Safe and Comfortable Adventure in Nepal

Preparing for your Himalayan adventure is just as important as choosing the right destination. Whether you're trekking to Everest Base Camp, exploring the Annapurna Circuit, crossing the remote Manaslu region, or climbing one of Nepal's famous trekking peaks, having the proper equipment will make your journey safer, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.

Essential Travel Documents

Please carry the following documents in your hand luggage.

Trekking Bags

Duffel Bag (Provided by Trekadviser)

Every client receives a high-quality waterproof duffel bag FREE OF CHARGE for use during the trek or expedition.

Your porter will carry this bag throughout the journey, allowing you to trek comfortably with only your daypack.

We recommend packing your belongings inside waterproof dry bags for additional protection from rain and snow.

Day Backpack (Bring Your Own)

You should bring a comfortable 25–40 litre daypack that you will carry each day.

Sleeping Equipment

Trekking

  • Expedition Sleeping Bag (-30°C to -40°C)
  • Inflatable Mattress
  • Foam Mattress

Sleeping bags can be rented in Kathmandu if required.


Hydration

Proper hydration is extremely important while trekking.

Carry:

  • Reusable Water Bottles (2–3 Litres)
  • Thermos Flask

  • LifeStraw or Water Filter (Optional)
  • Electrolyte Powder

Drink at least 3–4 litres of water every day.
